1) What does Snap Plan Designs do?
We create custom basement layout plans that make your space flow better. You send measurements and notes (photos or sketches are fine), pick a package, and we return a clean, labeled plan with smart room layout and optional lighting & electrical suggestions.
2) How long does it take?
Typical turnaround is 5–7 business days per layout. If your basement is complex, we’ll confirm timing up front so there are no surprises.
3) What do you need from me to start?
Basic room measurements and any notes on what you want (bedroom, office, gym, bar, theater, storage, etc.). A quick sketch or phone photos of a sketch work great.
4) Which package should I choose?
- Starter – Clean, labeled 2D layout to visualize rooms and walls.
- Standard – Starter plus lighting & electrical suggestions.
- Pro – Standard plus added detail and refined configuration for tricky spaces.
5) Do you include lighting & electrical suggestions?
Yes. They’re included in Standard and Pro. If you choose Starter, you can add this option during checkout.
6) Are the plans permit‑ready?
Our plans are for conceptual and planning purposes. Local rules vary—confirm permitting needs with your municipality or contractor before building.
7) Do you offer revisions?
Yes—each package includes at least one revision to fine‑tune your layout. Need more? You can add additional revisions as needed.
8) What file types can I upload?
We accept JPG, PNG, and PDF. Have something else? Contact us and we’ll confirm compatibility.
9) Do you work nationwide?
Yes. Our process is 100% online—send your measurements and notes, and we’ll deliver your plan wherever you are in the U.S.
10) How do I get started?
Head to Start My Project, pick a package, upload your files, and add notes about how you want to use the space. We’ll take it from there.
11) I don’t have perfect measurements—can you still help?
Yes. Provide your best measurements and a quick sketch. We’ll base the plan on what you send and make it easy to adjust during revisions if needed.
12) What do I receive? (Deliverables)
A professionally formatted PDF plan showing room layout, labels, and (if selected) lighting & electrical suggestions—delivered by email/download.
13) What sizes or spaces do you support?
We handle most residential basements. If your space is unusually large or has complex constraints, add a note when you order—we’ll confirm scope and timing.
14) How do I contact support?
